INFORMATIONToday I bring you Skyrim: Elite Edition, a fully customizable XMB mod system for Skyrim - Legendary Edition. I started this project with intentions of creating my own modded version of Skyrim for some of our fans.
Skyrim Ps3 Mods No Jailbreak
After messing around with some of the XMB dev features, I quickly realized that we could put together mods for Bethesda games and install them via XMB. I took this concept and ran with it! This is my end result, a version of Skyrim that users can mod themselves!
It's not fully complete, but fully functional. I plan to add more mod packs in the future when I have free time.
Due to the amount of time it takes to test these massive games, I decided to release the core, along with the first Mod Pack I have completed. INSTALLATION. Download Skyrim: Elite Edition Mod Pack and extract its contents.
Copy ALL files & folders from my Mod Pack to a USB Flash Drive or External HDD. Turn on your PS3 and insert the USB/HDD into PS3 USB slot. Load up MultiMan switch to TMB or XMB view, go all the way to the left to the ' multiMan' column and select ' File Manager/mmOS'. Select ' PS3 Root' icon on the mmOS desktop, This will bring up a file explorer menu. Select ' devhdd0', and then select ' GAMES', find your Skyrim game folder and enter it, now move that window to the side with your joystick.
(Do NOT exit out of the window, just move it aside.). Select ' PS3 Root' icon on the mmOS desktop again to bring up another file explorer menu. This time select 'devusb000' or ' devusb001' whichever one is your USB/HDD.
(changes depending on what slot you plug USB/HDD into). Now you should be at the root of your USB/HDD, locate the folder you extracted to mod pack to.
Use your joystick to highlight ALL files and folders, and press ' O' (circle) to open pop up menu. Highlight ' Copy' and press ' X', you should see a message stating you copied data to clipboard. Now use your joystick over to the window we moved aside in step 6 and press ' X' to pull it forward. Press ' O' to open pop up menu, and highlight ' Paste' and press ' X'. It will ask you if you want to overwrite, select ' Yes'.
It will ask you if your sure, select ' Yes'. Wait for it to finish copying all the files. Exit multiMan and load up Skyrim: Elite Edition using Webman,Gamesonic, or Iris Manger. (extra XMB features WILL NOT be visible unless loaded via these backup managers that are compatible with the file structure).
Enjoy your new Skyrim ModsWhen you boot Skyrim: Elite Edition for the first time (or when new mods are installed) you will be presented with a install screen before boot. This is needed for boot order, and contains some stuff thats needed for other features to work properly. Its safe and in no way effects your firmware or system files, it simply installs a PKG file before boot. HELP! Problem My title screen is black!
Answer This is a known bug that i cannot for the life of me figure out.it doesn't effect gameplay but bothers the crap out of me. Problem I don't want 'said mod' installed anymore! Answer You can browse to Skyrim Game Data folder via Multiman File Manager, and delete 'said mod' manually from the NPDRM folder. Or delete Game Data completely and re-mod your Skyrim. Problem I don't have the extra options on XMB!
Answer Skyrim needs to be mounted via Gamesonic, Webman, or Iris Manager to see the extra options./URL. Click to expand.wow, mine looks 'rough' but not like that. We don't really use that mod nor was it intended to be included in the pack (hence not listed in mod list) We aren't really into that sort of thing but it was requested quite a few times so i included the rough version of it. DeathDealer is in the process of whipping me up a DDX creator sometime in the future, it will fix all those texture issues. Skyrim will load dds, but it doesnt like it, if texture res bothers you try to stay away from the texture based mods until i get my DDX creator. Other languages might have bugs, as i only tested english language. Looks like you got a case of what we call 'de-rez' where dds textures are making your game downscale textures to compensate for memory being low.
DDX is 2 images mashed together of different res, skyrim will switch between the two when needed, dds does not do this and this is the result. Just delete the NUDE mod its no doubt the trouble maker.use multiman to remove i and it will look better. I didnt even want to include it but i ket getting requests so i left it in there. It wont fully work until i get it in DDX format.NOTE: If you do not remove the ddx file from TEXTURES.BSA it wont do that, it looks rough but not like that. It only did that to me when i removed the ddx file to try to improve quality, the ground at your feet is also de-rez' as well, due to 500 females using a non-down scalable dds file for the body. Click to expand.Nude mod needs some work, thats why its not included in the mod list. Its 'experimental', that being said can you send me a list of mods you are trying to add?
When you say cause the game to not load do you mean title screen freeze? At one point i had this project nearly complete, then realized load order was a important factor.installing mods out of order would cause a working setup to not function. So.I redid the whole system to be compatible with my new load order setup. This is probably why you feel some mods arent working, they are conflicting with another mod higher in the load order. Load order for skyrim: elite edition is set via EDAT, and installed before booting to set proper load order. If you are attempting to add my mods to your mods confilcts will surely arise.might i ask how you are installing your mods?
Are you dropping them in a DLC folder or making your own folder in NPDRM like i did with this project?NOTE: This process you are going through, is the exact process i went through with this porject, mods.just dont like to play well with each other. Takes a rigorous amount of time testing them to get it all to work properly. This is why it took me so long to get a initial release out there.as for your problem i have had it several times. In order to solve it.you would have to test the mods one by one and see which one is the trouble maker.
I may be able to help you get some to work, just remember what i said about 'load order' it is crucial. If you are not making your own EDAT's, load order will be set when you copy the esp/bsa to dlc dir, this is bad because if you re-copy your mods in the future it will NOT have the same effect as the setup you have, because you have copied those mods out of order id imagine.
Click to expand.thx for that bit of info brother, if you dont mind could you send me your cleaner version of the nude mod? I prefer to put CBBE in there, and messed with it for a while seeing as how it was requested by many. I will include credits for your efforts, i am actually in the process of updating the core and i will take your info and put it in the update (so your already added to credits roll & txt) Ill copy skyrim.ini and add spanish, etc to the core to help other spanish users.
If you look in skyrim game data folder using multiman, browse into NPDRM folder, find Books, inside is every esp i added, over 20 i think! But if you need the names i can write them out for you.might be easier to just check it out. Thanks again man, you have been a great help already, you were correct about the textures being off for the body (i ran them through Ordenator and it changed them to DXT1, forgot to replace with the def ones)ALSO: if your translating this project, would you consider sending me the translated files to add to the webpage?
With credit to you of course.for other spanish users?AND: You seem dedicated to skyrim, would you consider joining our team to help improve this project? We are but few atm.would be nice to have an extra set of fingers. Nude mod needs some work, thats why its not included in the mod list.
Its 'experimental', that being said can you send me a list of mods you are trying to add? When you say cause the game to not load do you mean title screen freeze?

The collectible figure also includes a light up LED feature, as well as sound effects and phrases directly from the game. Mr handy fallout 4. It’s priced at $149.99, with a release set for July. The figure stands at 12″ tall, with over 40 points of articulation. Pre-orders are now open for the Fallout: Mister Handy Deluxe Articulated Figure that’s being produced by Gaming Heads.
Click to expand.Ok, for starter's.you will need a PC copy of Skyrim to get proper load order. You install in to pc, and use 'ModOrganizer' to organize your mods. Then you take that order and number your EDAT's/Mod Folders. See, if you just copy it to DLC folder like you do it goes by when its copied, but i learned that load order is IN FACT set when the EDAT is copied. So, by creating my own edats i have control over the load order no matter what order you guys install the mods.I have added the 'DeBloat' mod to the core.it helps with bloating but will not 'reduce the filesize' of a already created game save for a while. Its best to have it run with a new game (hence added to core by default) it will keep saves at a reasonable filesize. Also bro, i have never got 'endless load' because of mod conflict, i only got that error when using a 'faulty' game save.
See, when you save your game in skyrim (and sometimes not even with some mods) scripts are saved into it, and certain mods can leave behind scripts in there that cause conflicts (especially a old save!) even if you delete them with multiman, the scripts remain in the save. ALWAYS test with a new game first, if it loads all the way to game, and your game save doesnt. Its your game save thats the problemLONG loadup is fine, its scanning NPDRM folder for stuff.since we add a ton of stuff it takes longer.this cannot be helped. The more we add the longer it takes, but a small price to pay for awesomeness. In my initial testing had 250 EDATS being scanned!
Took it 1 full min to load on my HDD!ALSO: I have a 'Debug' gamesave we use for testing, its a hacked save with all locations, and everything to test mods.makes it easy. My test consist of starting new game, verifying the whole intro works good. Then load debug and test certain things (open chest, loot body, etc.) then test the actual mod. Re-Packing my mods might not work in your favor, i use a very unique method with this to ensure load order is what i set it to.
That being said 'some' of the needed files for the mod are installed before boot, so my PKG's are missing files you may need.and such. Its confusing i know, but must be done this way.
I included a folder in NPDRM called 'ModTest' you can drop mods in there and test them, if they work let me know and send me esp/esm/bsa and ill do the re-packing.Modifying the SFO, eh.could cause a few issues. If you mess with the version stuff it will conflict with the preinstall pkg and might give you endless loop when it asks to install 5mb partition (core files).
But you could 'in theory' change the other stuff (title, etc). Click to expand.well, sounds to me like you have 'ad blocker' activated and its not displaying java from the webpage, so its blank. Seeing as how we a VERY FEW at Elite Electronics atm, and we do not get paid to do this.i cannot maintain a entire webpage with no income;( So we use Wix.com's free service, as its easy to maintain, and is free to all.bad part (of many) is that they display a few 'ads' stating we are using their free service.might want to turn off your ad blocker if you want to access the webpage.CORE.
As a last note, As far as everything goes and as of right now, there is no way to mod either console (Xbox and PS3). From my knowledge, there is no program out for Skyrim, yet due to it's relatively young age I can only expect it to come out soon. Both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, however do have programs for modification on the console and they get A LOT done, which is no understatement. If you also play the Fallout series, and have some want to modify it (I've tested both a lot, thought for the New Vegas if you do modify it a lot, or mess with a lot of things in your inventory, you can mess your game up)Fallout New Vegas:Fallout 3. What I mean is that pending on what save you come across, I know of one that made you level 250.
You started off in a slightly (heavily) modded room in the starting area where you could loot basically any item in the game, then continue on with the very very beginning of the game. There is no 'multiplayer' and story leveling will already be maxed at 50 due to that specific saves level.
Most people mod Skyrim to break level caps (which there shortly should not be), modify inventory carry weight, max out a skill (or all skills) and just to give the person using it a much much different and more 'free' experience to do what he/she pleases.

I have been playing skyrim since around when it came out I only have the ps3 version is there a way to mod it without getting my ps3/account banned or without jail breaking it I only have one ps3 and it is basically my only source of entertainment -yes I have no life- and wouldn't want it or my account to get banned? In short - no.If you have your heart set on modding Skyrim you should just buy the PC version, which can be found on sale for $35 with all DLC if you go for the Legendary edition. There's honestly a lot of misinformation in this thread. You can't mod Skyrim on your PS3 in a similar manner to the PC without jail-breaking it (which you don't want to ever do), and even if you did, you open both your game saves and PS3 to a myriad of unsolvable issues. It's not even close to worth it for mods that likely won't work anyway. Now, what people have been discussing in this thread is a bit different. Some people download 'modded' Skyrim save files from the internet and just add them to their PS3 with a USB stick. All that these generally consist of are a few additional sets of armor/weapons already in the game. You have no ability to actually 'mod' anything yourself, it's like what would happen if you saved your Skyrim file to a USB stick and traded with a friend for theirs.
If you want to have control over what the file contains you would need Skyrim on the PC anyway: people take a PS3 save, convert it to PC, edit it, and then convert it back. During these conversions there are a lot of opportunities for screw-ups that waste the whole process.tl;dr buy the PC version if you want mods. Any claimed alternative methods for consoles are a waste of time or complete BS. That's true, and the ps3 i have is a new well oiled machine, so i'll stick with ur advice.
Thx:)I happen to have a list of 22 pre modded gamesaves that can be played on the ps3 after a simple action using a flashdrive/USB device to move them from the PC to ps3 (I have no association with these mods nor their developers) xD but no. Seriously request trough email, i'd be willing to share a link to all 22 no jailbreak bs.
Unless gamesaves are resigned your unable to save and earn trophies. But I also have the ability to resign them using a copy of your current save. Why not just play the Damn game the way it was meant to be played?Because when you have played through it with every race and done every quest in every possible way, it gets pretty fucking boring.
That's why many games were given DLCs and new content updates. In addition to that, there's a plethora of fun ideas that the developers don't add in, and that's where modders come in. Modding =/= hacking or cheating. It's just adding new stuff to make the game more fun. Rome total war crashes. The flying and animated wing mods for skyrim look like some pretty cool shit imo.
